EVIGHET

Evighet, which means Eternity in Swedish, captures the essence of a transformative road trip from Stockholm to Lofoten. During this journey, I encountered clouds unlike I had ever seen before; it felt as if I could reach out and grasp them, living in a moment of eternity. In my artwork, I used cotton glued to tulle to symbolize these ethereal clouds, while the blue box represents the air and the green paper depicts the mountains. This collage merges two pictures, embodying the pursuit of eternity and its reformation within our ever-changing reality.

CINDERELLA AS
A POLE DANCER

When the prince brings Cinderella the glass slipper, she transforms into a princess.

In my critical approach to the classic folk tale of Cinderella, I reinterpret the story's iconic symbol—the glass slipper. In this version, Cinderella is no longer a helpless, impoverished girl passively waiting for a prince to change her destiny. Instead, she is reimagined as a strong, self-assured woman who wears her own shoes with confidence and dances freely, pursuing fulfillment on her own terms.

The Man and The Moth

Once there was a man who cherished his clothes, each piece a reflection of his style and identity. One day, a tiny moth fluttered into his home, drawn by the vibrant fabrics that adorned the man’s wardrobe. To the man's dismay, the moth feasted on his beloved garments, reducing them mere threads. In a twist of irony, the man's passion for clothing was undone by a creature so small and insignificant, highlighting the simplicity and inconsistency of life’s unexpected turns.

In this handmade book, the story is written in Swedish.
